Partners in SICP have, over the years, accumulated substantial experience in the retail sector.

 

SI Retail was established as a platform to undertake retail operations in Iraq. In partnership with Auchan of France we were to build and operate several hypermarkets in Iraq. The first of these outlets was opened in June 2014, a 6000 square meter space situated in Mega Mall, Erbil's latest shopping mall. Unfortunately due to the on-going security situation on the ground, SI Retail subsequently exited this project.

 

SICP was the lead advisor for the acquisition and restructuring of Kings/Balducci, a food retail company with 33 stores and 3000 employees. Based in New York, Kings/Balducci is the leading high-end food retailer in North Eastern America, with $600 million USD in revenues.
